The Miami International Academy of Double Bass presents its newest initiative: Bass Conservatory of Miami. Our plan is to offer weekly group instruction for double bass players of all levels. The Bass Conservatory of Miami includes group instruction working on technique, bass chamber music, All-State preparation, solo playing, music theory and improvisation for beginner, intermediate and advanced bass players

Founder of the Bass Conservatory of Dallas and master teacher Dr. Gudrun Raschen and MIAbass faculty will host a meeting with parents and students about the goals of the Conservatory and the success of its teaching style. This will be followed by participation by all students in the different aspects of the weekly classes. This first meeting is free of charge.

Come and be part of a historical event for the city of Miami. Our first inaugural session starts on October 20th, 2018 from 3 pm until 4:30 pm. We'lll meet at Florida International University's School of Music Recital hall.
